Bangladesh Cricket Board cancels Pakistan tour

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papan categorically said that the Pakistan tour of Bangladesh cricket team, which was scheduled to be on the second week of January, was cancelled.
He came up with the disclosure in a press briefing at city’s Hotel Ruposhi Bangla on Monday afternoon.
Nazmul Hasan Papan said, “The tour has been cancelled as the overall security condition of Pakistan is degraded and also for the opponent in the country.”
Earlier in April, BCB accepted the invitation to tour Pakistan for a short limited-over series.
Pakistan proposed a one-day international and a Twenty20 game to be played in Lahore on January 12 and 13.
