Bangladesh government on Monday launched a mobile app for inter-connectivity among its officers.
The messaging app will allow chat, file sharing and video calling among other features.
Prime Minister Hasina launched the app at the Secretariat on Monday where she informed that
All government officers will be able to use the application named Alapon, which has features of chat, online calls, video calls, group messaging, file sharing and location sharing.
The app is available for free download in IOS and Google play store.
Government officials will be able to download it with their National ID numbers on devices which uses the mobile phone number they provided for the official database, a statement said.
The app is secure enough for conversations and files and optimised to minimise cost for the government officers.
