Bangladesh Telecommunication Regularity Commission (BTRC)
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regularity Commission (BTRC) has set August 7 as the 2G license renewal date for the mobile-phone operators.
While contacted, BTRC Chairman Gen (retd) Zia Ahmed said the operators would collect their renewed licenses from BTRC office.
Of the six mobile operators, the 2G licenses validity of Grameen Phone, Banglalink, Robi and Citycell expired on November 2011.
