A truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw Ahmmadpur area adjacent to Kashinathpur Bazaar in Sujanagar upazila in Pabna early on Monday and left five people dead.
Rajib Hasan, OC of Aminpur Police Station, said a sand-laden truck hit the auto-rickshaw in the area in the early morning, leaving five of its passengers dead on the spot and two others injured.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
