The re-elected President Barack Obama also won a mock election in Bangladesh.
Obama got 277 votes while his opponent Mitt Romney bagged 13 in the mock polls held in Westin hotel on Wednesday morning before the Republican candidate conceded defeat.
In a similar mock poll in 2008, Obama had defeated his Republican opponent John McCain by a margin of over 250 votes.
The US embassy-organised programme started at 6:00am in the morning and the result was declared around 10am. It was attended by ministers, advisers of the Prime Minister, politicians, senior civil and military bureaucrats, businessmen and members of the civil society.
The people started cheering and some even flashed victory sign in the large hall of the hotel when the CNN projected that Obama had bagged over 270 electoral votes in the election.
