Rubel Hossain is considered to be the golden goose of Bangladesh team; whether its New Zealand or England he has shown his classic bowling everywhere. And this time he is all set to roar again in the field.
Talking to an online news portal Rubel Hossain expressed his thoughts over the England series and his preparation. He looks confidence after getting recovered from the injury.
The ‘Happy’ man missed out two significant events; Asia Cup T20 and World T20 due to the injury he had while he was in India playing for the ‘A’ team.
But recovering from the injury Rubel Hossain now looks fresh and optimistic about his bowling. He is one of the successful bowler of Bangladesh against the English batting line up; picking up nine wickets in six matches.
“Its been a while we are out of cricket; so it will be good for us to play against England,” said the Hat-trick man Rubel. “As we are playing in our home, it will be a big challenge for us; we will get the advantage as well. England will be at pressure while playing with us because they couldn’t win against us in recent matches.”
“They lost against us in the World Cup, where the condition was favorable to them; obviously it was a big shame for them. But they will be coming here with a stronger team, but that doesn’t bother us. We will try to give our best in the field,” he added.
So far England faced Bangladesh 16 times where they were victorious in 13 occasions. But there’s something that giving hopes to Bangladesh winning the series; that is they have won against them three times in their last four encounters.
