At least five people were killed in a fire that broke out at a factory in Gazipur’s Pubail after a boiler exploded, says the fire service.
Md Akteruzzaman Liton, Deputy Director of Fire Service and Civil Defence at Gazipur, said the explosion occurred around 4:30pm at the factory in Gazipur City Corporation area.
The fire service control room has confirmed to the death of five people in the incident.
Police Superintendent in Gazipur Harun-ur-Rashid told that three people had died on the spot.
