For the second time in current year, gold price has been raised once again.
From the beginning of the year, Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) declared the increased price by Tk 1200 per bhori in Januray 11.
Now, since Thursday, price of gold has been raised by Tk 1225 per bhori.
This new price to be effective from Saturday.
In the previous year, gold’s price in the country fluctuated for at least nine times. Among those, price went up for six times and down for three times. Though, gold’s price went down for two times at the end of that year.
According to this new declaration, 22 karat (11.664g) gold’s price is fixed to Tk 43,740 per bhori. Previously same amount of gold has been sold at Tk 42,515.
