In a bid to ensure Cyber Security in the country, the Awami League led-government will write a letter to Facebook authorities to ink a deal with it soon.
The government will write the letter regarding this on Sunday (November 29) to be able to get information about its users in Bangladesh.
Tarana Halim, the state minister for posts and telecommunications division under the posts, telecommunications and information technology ministry, came up with the announcement on Saturday.
The Junior Minister made the disclosure while revealing a research report on using safety internet at capital’s Daily Star Bhaban on the day.
‘In using internet, counseling is needed for teenagers and youths in the country,’ she said, adding that her ministry is emphasising regarding counseling them.
