The match is scheduled to start on 7:30 pm Bangladesh time. After winning the toss in the first match against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, Mashrafe announced his retirement from T20Is. Though Tigers lost the match by 6 wickets, Mashrafe’s retirement issue was the most talked of topic throughout the day.
However, Bangladesh will play today’s match only for Mashrafe and make the momentum memorable. Ahead of the match, in the post match press conference young all-rounder from Bangladesh side Mosaddek Hossain said
“There is no alternative to winning now. But I can personally say we will play the second match for Mashrafe bhai, to gift him a winning send-off”.
