Mustafizur Rahman’s ‘telescope surgery’ on left shoulder has been done successfully. He was supposed to leave the Bupa Cromwell Hospital on Friday (12). But his pain didn’t lessen. So he had to stay there. The next day, finally he left the hospital on Saturday.

He left the hospital at 12:30 pm local time in London. Mustafiz is now at AGM Sabbir’s home, who is the Principal of Saint Peter’s School and Collage of London. Mustafiz will meet Andrew Wallace there. To be noted, he will need more time to come to Bangladesh. Bangladesh Cricket Board’s physio Debashis Chowdhury has given a good news that Mustafiz doesn’t have the pain which he had on Friday. Surgeon Andrew Wallace is also happy with Fizz’s current condition. Mustafizur will have to go to Bupa Cromwell Hospital again on 17 August (Wednesday). He has to give some tests after the surgery. If the results look positive, Mustafiz will fly for Bangladesh with physio Debashis on the next day. Mustafizur Rahman played continuous cricket this year. He had an elbow injury during the T20I series against Zimbabwe. Then he injured his shoulder during the Asia Cup T20. Straight away after the World T20, he flew to India for IPL. After the IPL, he had rihab and then played two NatWest T20 Blast matches for Sussex Sharks.
