PayPal’s operations in Bangladesh are going to start soon. This information was given in the weekly meeting of the cabinet held at the cabinet hall of Bangladesh Secretariat in the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam told reporters that today’s cabinet meeting discussed the importance of introducing PayPal services in Bangladesh. As a result, online payment system PayPal will start their operations in Bangladesh very soon to facilitate hassle free electronic money transfer and to increase consumer penetration and the country’s free launcher.
Shafiul Alam said that ICT minister Junaid Ahmed Palak visited Argentina from 22 to 24 March, from March 29 to 31 in the United States and from Argentina on April 2 to 4, and during this time he met with high officials of Google, Facebook and PayPal. Referring to the results of the ministerial meeting with PayPal, she said, PayPal will start their activities in Bangladesh very soon.
Since the launch of PayPal in December 1998, almost 20 million units and business payments have been transferred to Electronic Funds. There are almost two hundred market paypal benefits worldwide. Account holders received their bills in more than one hundred rupees. Fund raises up to 56 denominations. In 25 currency, the accounts were suspended.
