Bangladesh’s young pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman who is better known as ‘The Fizz’ came back to Dhaka after 10 days of his operation; he was supposed to come on Friday but the decision was changed due to air ticket complexity.

Coming back home Mustafiz seemed very disappointed; it’s a misfortune for him not to finish what he was supposed to. Injury can be brutal in every cases. Last time Mustafiz went to England he also had to return to Bangladesh after falling in the trap of injury.

He didn’t keep the media waited for a long time in the airport but his limited words and gestures proved that he is disappointed. For the second time he had to return from England without finishing what he started.

Talking to the media he said, “I actually feel bad, this wasn’t supposed to happen. I should’ve finished what I started but injury cut short my journey. It’s not the first time I’m returning from UK with bags full disappointments.”

He also talked about his physical condition. “Right now physically I’m feeling better, the condition is improving day by day. Though it will take some time. The surgeon recommended me to follow some instructions and guidelines; hopefully I will maintain those properly,” he said.

BCB lead physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury also went to England and stayed beside Mustafiz. Even before Mustafiz was supposed to leave he gave him the guideline and also talked to Sussex managing team on how to handle him as Mustafiz wasn’t fully fit.

Coming back to Dhaka he stated how he will be nurtured right now. Mustafiz will need at least four weeks time to start the rehabilitation process, after that it will take him 5-6 months time to get fully fit. So he will surely miss the England series as well as the BPL starting in November. He might also miss the New Zealand tour at the end of this year.

The baby-face killer joined Sussex on 21 July and pulled off a stunning performance on his first match picking up 4 wickets. He remained wicket-less in the second match against Surrey. He felt the pain on his shoulder in the second match, later that painful injury threw him out of the County journey.
