The rescue team was vigilant so that the wild elephant which entered to Bangladesh from India’s Assam few weeks ago could not escape.
But the ropes proved no match to its gigantic ability.
Eyewitness told Samakal on early Saturday that around 11: 30 am the elephant jumped into a pond tearing ropes.
This four-ton elephant was tranquilized on Thursday noon at Kamrabad union of Jamalpur’s Sorishabari upazila.
