World’s first marriage on popular microblogging site Twitter is believed to have taken place at Istanbul in Turkey on Sep 3.
Cengizhan Celik, a social media editor for a Turkish news site, Ensonhaber.com, married Candan Canik by exchanging wedding vows using Twitter, reported Ney York Daily News on its website.
“A couple in Turkey showed on Monday they needed far less than 140 characters to express their eternal love for each other,” said the report.
