Primary School Certificate (PSC) and equivalent exams slated for Monday (Nov 22) have been shifted to Nov 30.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Musatfizur Rahman told reporters on Sunday that the exams will start at 11am on that day.
The Jamaat-e-Islami has called a nationwide strike on Monday to protest the execution of its secretary general Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid, who was hanged on Sunday for his 1971 war crimes.
This year’s PSC and equivalent exams started on Sunday with 3.25 million students taking the test.
