The premier of noted actor Ferdous Ahmed’s new film ‘Shewla’ (Moss) was held in the Dhaka Regency Celebration Hall recently, reports the UNB.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu was present at the ceremony as the chief guest.
Ferdous will play the role of a boatman in the film.
The actor said, “The movie will highlight various aspects of superstition. This is a story of the village where people lead a simple life. I had been doing this kind of story before. I hope this will be a nice work.”
Sayeb Bappy and Ehsan Choudhury directed the film where Ferdous Ahmed, Shatabdi Wadud, Payel Mukharjee, Dr Aziz, Joyosree Kar Jaya, Nawsheen Nahreen Mou, Monira Mithu and many more worked.
Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Yahya Chowdhury, MP and Chairman of Cambrian Education Group MK Bashar were also present on the occasion.
