The Tigers will lock horns against India in the opening match of Asia Cup 2016 and the young sensational pacer Mustafizur Rahman likely to play in the 24th match after recovering from a shoulder injury.
The Bangladesh National Cricket team physio Bayezid Khan shared a few words about Mustafizur’s injury, he said, ” he did well in the rehabilitation process and he is fully fit to play against India in the first match of Aisa Cup 2016.”
Mustafizur played the last match against Zimbabwe and got the shoulder injury, ruled out of the series. BCB took no risk and gave him rest though the injury wasn’t that serious at all.
The Tigers has started their practice for the upcoming tournament in Khulna and Chittagong and played a few matches between them.But till now Mustafizur didn’t participate in the team’s practice and didn’t bowl in the nets.The BCB physio sanguine about Mustafizur’s fitness and hopefully he will be back in action in the Asia Cup 2016.
