Bangladeseh have lost their second match of the series against Afghanistan by 2 wickets. And this defeat means Bangladesh won’t be climbing up to No. 6 position in the ODI ranking.

After the match in the post match presentation Mashrafe stated the their batting was problematic one. Though he praised the bowlers he mentioned about the batting disaster where batsmen couldn’t capitalize after scoring 20-30 runs.

“Our Batting wasn’t up to the mark,” Mashrafe said. “The wicket was on the slow side, and after getting 20-30 runs, somebody should have made a big score. But in this match no batsmen could do that in the right time. Batsmen have to aim for fifties after scoring 30 runs, then they have to target the century. 240 would have been a good score in the pitch.”
