Expecting clean chit, two Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny will undergo bowling action test at ICC accredited laboratory ‘Brisbane National Cricket Centre’, Australia on Thursday, reports the UNB.
Right-arm pace bowler Taskin and left-arm spinner Sunny are set to appear for their biomechanics test at 6 and 10 am (Bangladesh time) respectively.
Both the bowlers, who had a couple of days to train in Brisbane ahead of their tests, will be accompanied by Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha.
The result of their actions will be known within ten to twelve days after the test.
If both the bowlers get the clearance, only Taskin will be reappearing in the international cricket with the Bangladesh ODI series against Afghanistan, as he has been included in the Tigers squad for the series, starting on September 25.
Taskin and Sunny were reported for suspected bowling actions during the World T20, and were suspended following a test at an ICC-accredited centre in Chennai in March.
They left home for Australia on Monday last.
