Specialized left-arm medium fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL auction 2016 for INR 1.4 crores.Mustafizur is currently on hiatus due to injury.
Mustafizur first broke into international cricket against Pakistan in the Twenty20 format on April 2015. Later that year, he played his first One Day International and Test matches against India and South Africa respectively where he was highly regarded for setting up the records.
Before his international career, Mustafizur played in the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He also represented Dhaka Dynamites in the 2015 Bangladesh Premier League.
He was embraced heavily in his outset as he took most number of wickets (13) in a debut ODI series.
He also holds the record for being the first player to win the ‘Man of the Match’ award on both Test as well as One Day International debuts.
